What is it about the prospect of a STORY that makes us so instantly respond, gather round, and salivate in anticipation? Given how technology has helped to rapidly diminish our attention spans, some are convinced that literature is dying.
I don’t. I believe our thirst for great stories will survive, and our willingness to commit our precious time to reading will outlast everything that social-technology can throw at us.
